Why Creator Gigs Africa Exists [About Us & Value Proposition]
Creator Gigs Africa didn’t start as a startup idea or a pitch deck. It started with a pattern we kept seeing over and over again
Creator Gigs Africa didn’t start as a startup idea or a pitch deck.
It started with a pattern we kept seeing over and over again as marketers..
Brands want to work with content creators — but had a lot of reasons why they should avoid it
No specific pricing structure: Macro content creators charging marketers and brands based on their mood
Ghosting DMs: Content creators ghosting DMs or missing DMs due to over-crowding
Unprofessional Work Ethic: Endless back and forth with negotiations with creators, sharing deliverables, content brief etc
And, we observed that, ready-to-deliver micro, mini and nano creators, wanted paid collaborations — but didn’t know where to find serious brands.
And same goes for brands.
They wanted to work with creators but didn’t know how to find the ones ready to work..
Also, we observed that everything happened in DMs.
Instagram messages.
WhatsApp chats.
Cold emails.
Endless back-and-forth with no structure, no clarity, and no real standard for how brand collaborations should work.
Marketers observed that some campaigns worked. Many didn’t.
Most were frustrating for both sides.
And, that chaos is what led to us building Creator Gigs Africa.
The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Across Africa, creator marketing has been growing rapidly — but without the infrastructure to support it.
Creators struggle with:
No clear way to price their work
Little visibility for brand-deals beyond follower count
Difficulty finding brands willing to pay fairly
No structured way to showcase their social performance
Brands on the other hand struggled with:
Knowing which creators to trust with talking about their brand
What performance metrics to evaluate to decide the best creators to work with
Managing collaborations professionally
Running campaigns without relying on guesswork
There was no central system that worked for both sides.
So we built one.
What Creator Gigs Africa Is
Creator Gigs Africa is a structured platform where brands and creators collaborate with clarity.
Creators can:
Build detailed profiles
Showcase their niche, audience, and service pricing
Link their social accounts and share performance data
Apply directly to brand campaigns, and
Brands can:
Publish campaigns with clear deliverables publicly
Get applications from work-ready creators
Review creator analytics before hiring them
Compare applications in one place
Work with creators beyond chaotic DMs
It’s not about influencers.
It’s about professional creator collaboration.
Our Quality Standards & Promise
Our promise is simple:
We help brands and creators work together professionally, transparently, and with intention.
That means:
We help them set clear expectations from the start
Brands can make data-informed decision-making
Brands show respect for creators’ value, and
Brands, marketers and agencies can run campaigns confidently
We don’t optimize for noise or vanity metrics.
We optimize for clarity, trust, and results.
Why We Believe Smaller Creators Matter
One of the strongest insights we’ve seen is this:
Nano, micro, and mid-sized creators often outperform larger creators in engagement, trust, and conversions.
But they’re the hardest to find — and the easiest to overlook.
Creator Gigs Africa is designed to surface these creators, give them visibility, and help brands discover real influence where it actually exists.
What We’re Building Long-Term
We’re building the infrastructure for paid creator collaborations across Africa.
That includes:
Structured onboarding for creators and brands
Verified analytics and performance insights
Campaign tracking and delivery standards
Rating systems and accountability
Smarter matching between brands and creators
Our goal is to make creator marketing in Africa:
Easier to access
Safer to participate in
More transparent
More sustainable
