This Is How We Help You Tell Brands How Much To Pay YOU

One of the most important features on Creator Gigs Africa is the Creator Price Tag.

It exists for one simple reason:
to help creators clearly communicate their rates—and help brands make faster, more confident hiring decisions.

In the video above, we’ll walk through how the feature works step by step. Below is a written breakdown you can reference anytime.

What the Creator Price Tag Feature Does

The Creator Price Tag feature allows you to list your content creation services with clear pricing, based on:

  • The social media platform

  • The type of content you create

  • The size of the company you’re working with

Once saved, your selections automatically populate our database and make you discoverable to brands searching within those exact criteria.

How to Set Up Your Price Tag

When creating a price tag, you’ll go through these steps:

  1. Select a social media platform
    (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

  2. Select the content type based on that platform
(e.g. Reels, TikTok videos, Shorts, Static posts)

  3. Select the company size
    (e.g. small, medium, large brands)

  4. Input your price

  5. Save

That’s it.

Multi-Select Options (Built for Speed)

To make things easier, we added two helpful options:

  • You can select multiple content types at once using a single checkbox

  • You can also select all company sizes at once using the checkbox beside the dropdown

This helps you set prices faster without repeating the same steps over and over.

Best Practices for Setting Up Your Price Tags (Important)

While the “select all” options are available, how you use them matters.

Here’s what we recommend:

Best approach (most creators):

  • Select one social platform

  • Select all content types

  • Select one company size

  • Set one price

This works best when your pricing changes based on the size of the company, but not the content format.

Alternative approach (when content price is fixed):

  • Select one social platform

  • Select one content type

  • Select all company sizes

  • Set one price

This works well when a specific content type costs the same for you, regardless of who the client is.

What to avoid:

Selecting all content types AND all company sizes at the same time for a single price
This often creates unclear pricing and doesn’t reflect how most creators actually charge.
