As January 2026, comes to an end, here’s a quick look at the features we shipped this month and the milestones we hit at Creator Gigs Africa.
1. New & Improved Features
We launched two super important features this month
We launched the feature that allows Creators to link their Instagram accounts directly to Creator Gigs Africa — with no Meta Business Account or Facebook page connection required.
We refined the Browse Creators feature, making creator research smoother for brands.
Available for brands on PC only, under the “Research” tab (not accessible on mobile yet).
2. Platform Milestones
We set some new platform milestones in January 2026!. Some of which include;
100+ registered brands onboarded
2,000+ total registered users on the platform
350 creator applications sent in total to brands
3. Media Mention
We were featured by The Guardian, highlighting how we’re strengthening the creator–brand marketplace with performance-driven features.
This month was about building better tools, attracting serious brands, and creating more real opportunities for creators—and we’re just getting started.
What We’re Building Next: Our February 2026 Roadmap
As we head into February, here are some of the features we’re actively working on to make creator–brand collaborations more seamless and performance-driven on Creator Gigs Africa
1. Direct Brand → Creator Proposals
Currently creator gigs africa is built around brands creating gigs and content creators apply.
But soon, brands will be able to send proposals directly to creators—no middle friction.
Note: The Browse Creators feature will only show brands content creators who have:
Linked their social media accounts, and
Added clear service price tags (in settings)
Meaning brands reach out knowing what the creator wants in terms of pricing, and creators get serious, relevant offers only.
2. Campaign Performance Analytics (In Progress)
A performance analytics dashboard that allows brands to:
Group all videos and collaborations under a single campaign
Track how each piece of content performs
Compare results across campaigns to see what actually works
This will be a big step toward helping brands optimize creator spend with real data, not guesses.
February will be focused on unlocking direct collaboration and measurable results—because great creator marketing shouldn’t be vague or manual.
