Not Getting Creator Applications? Here’s What’s Likely Going Wrong
You posted a campaign on Creator Gigs Africa, you see your job page getting views in our analytics, but you're not getting any applications.. see what to do
If you posted a campaign on Creator Gigs Africa, our page view analytics system shows many creators are viewing your job page, but your campaign isn’t getting the level of interest you expected, it usually comes down to a few key factors:
1. Your budget may not attract larger creators
If you’ve set a higher follower requirement, creators in that range may not find your current budget compelling enough to apply.
(we’re actively working out ways to improve our analytics & give you better knowledge on budget ranges)
2. You might be filtering out interested creators
If your campaign is getting views but not enough applications, there’s a good chance:
👉 Smaller creators are interested
👉 But the follower restriction limit you set when creating your campaign prevents them from applying
So interest exists — it’s just being blocked.
✅ What you can do about it
You have three practical options, depending on your goal:
Option A: Lower your follower requirement (to increase volume)
Create a duplicate version of your campaign and reduce the minimum follower count.
Example:
If your current minimum requirement is 50,000 followers, try lowering it to 2,000–5,000 followers.
This opens your campaign to more creators who are likely to apply at your current budget.
Option B: Increase your budget (to attract creators with larger followers)
If you want to keep your current minimum follower range, you’ll need to make the offer more attractive.
Increasing your budget signals higher value and improves your chances of getting responses from larger creators.
Simply click on edit campaign on desktop/laptop PC, and drag the budget slider to upgrade your budget.
Option C: Reach out directly to creators
If you don’t want to wait for applications:
Go to the Research Tab
Filter by:
Budget range
Creator niche
Click on Browse Creators (Our system shows you creators who are willing to collaborate at the budget you set in the research tab, including links to their social media pages)
Send direct offers to the creators that match your campaign
This gives you more control and can speed up responses significantly.
